Peter Mortensen has in-depth experience with commercial law in general and advises in particular on the use, acquisition and financing of real estate. In recent years, his focus area has been the establishment of renewable energy plants on land and at the sea.

From 2015-2018, Peter Mortensen was employed in COWI A/S’ Land and Rights department, where he provided client advice to state and municipal construction authorities e.g. on protection of rights, expropriation, conclusion of landowner agreements, determination of damages, and utility line easements and planning law.

Through his employment as a High Court judge in the Eastern High Court 2020-2021, he has gained litigation experience and insight into dispute resolution.

Peter Mortensen has a doctorate in law from the University of Copenhagen, where he is still employed and has taught property law and insolvency law for several years.

Peter Mortensen was admitted to the bar in 2025, but has deposited his license to practice.

Peter Mortensen speaks English and the Scandinavian languages.
